Overview

Move Score turns everyday car-free trips into a journey across Europe — every bike ride, walk or train becomes kilometres toward the next city.

I designed the concept and the whole experience: a landing that sells the idea in seconds, and an app where your real trips ride an avatar along an animated route — Berlin first, then Rome, then Istanbul — with CO₂ saved, an active streak and a friends' leaderboard.

It's a sustainable-mobility product dressed as a game, so doing the right thing feels like progress, not sacrifice.

The challenge

Sustainable transport is easy to praise and hard to sustain.

People already know cycling or taking the train is better — the hard part is staying motivated past week one. The challenge was to make low-carbon habits feel genuinely rewarding, day after day.

So I borrowed from games: a visible goal (the next city), immediate feedback (kilometres, CO₂, streak), and a real payoff when a milestone is reached.

Try it

Live prototype

This is the real, interactive prototype. Enter any email and Start, then press “Simuler une semaine de vélo” to watch a week of trips ride you down the route — and unlock the next city.

Designed moments

01
The animated route
A hand-drawn route between waypoints. The green line draws itself forward as the cyclist rides toward the goal — progress you can literally see moving.
02
The milestone
Reaching a city triggers confetti, a celebration card and the next, longer leg. The reward that keeps the habit alive.
03
The dashboard
Trips, CO₂ saved, streak and leaderboard at a glance, with a weekly activity chart and counters that tick up.

Outcome

A climate product that feels like a game you actually want to keep playing.

Motion does the persuading — the route drawing forward, numbers counting up, a city unlocking — so sustainability reads as momentum rather than duty. The same warm cream-and-green system runs from the landing page to the final milestone.
